Help Olivia fight ovarian cancer with vital treatment after chemotherapy is no longer an option.
Auckland
Our beloved grandmother, Olivia, has sadly been battling ovarian cancer and after exhausting all other options, including intense chemotherapy, her medical team at Canopy Cancer Care NZ has recommended Pembrolizumab (also known as Keytruda) as her best hope for treatment. This is an immunotherapy drug that offers a chance to extend her life and give her more precious time with us and those she loves.
Unfortunately, this treatment comes with an overwhelming financial stress as it is not government funded here in New Zealand. The estimated cost of her treatment alone is over $82,000 which doesn’t include additional expenses like administration costs, blood transfusions, essential tests etc.
Our grandmother is the heart of our family—a woman who has spent her life loving, and supporting everyone around her and we would really appreciate any help to support her through this time. Olivia’s wish is to continue cherishing her life and family—her child, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—who mean the world to her. She prays for the strength to stay with us, trusting in Jesus Christ to guide her through this time
We are reaching out to the community, friends, and anyone who has been affected by cancer to ask for help. 🤍
Thank you.
This is for my grandmother 🤍
The money will be spent on her treatment, Pembrolizumab (also known as Keytruda), recommended by Canopy Cancer Care NZ as well as essential medical expenses related to Olivia’s care.
