We need modern new seats for The Vic Theatre to replace the existing worn second-hand seats.

The Victoria Theatre Trust is launching a fundraising campaign to raise $200,000 to replace the old blue second-hand seats that were donated to the theastre in 2010.
The Trust has replaced some of these seats but we now need to raise $200000 to bring the seating up to comfortable modern standards and your support can make a huge difference.

About us
The Victoria Theatre Trust formed in 2004 to save and develop The Victoria Theatre as a cinema and performing arts centre supporting and responding to community needs. It is now a vibrant and integral part of the Devonport and Auckland cultural landscape.
Use of funds
All funds raised will go towards the purchase and upgrade of seating throughout the 4 cinemas.

The Victoria Theatre Trust is a separate charitable entity from The Vic Ltd, which operates the cinema. While The Vic Ltd brings stories to life on screen, the Trust works tirelessly behind the scenes to preserve and maintain the 113-year-old heritage building and upgrade costly cinema equipment.
We rely entirely on donations and community support to restore, upgrade, and protect this valuable community asset. Right now, we urgently need funds to replace the worn and tired seats to ensure comfort and accessibility for all.
