Otago

This page has been created to help support the whānau of Watson Tuapati (Roko Watesoni Tawatatau Tuapati) as they deal with the devastating loss of him.

Watson was a larger than life character who was a Year 13 Prefect at St Kevin’s College. He lived in the hostel for two years and was part of the 1st XV, Basketball and Volleyball teams and also excelled at Athletics.

Watson was a fine leader and was known to many around the St Kevin’s College community for his enthusiasm, infectious smile and kind hearted soul. He was a truly special young man.

Watson was involved in a car accident at Easter, and although he fought for his life for two weeks, he unfortunately passed away on Tuesday 20th April.

Please support his family in their time of need.

Rest in peace Watson.

Craig Smith's involvement (page creator)

Watson was a student at St Kevin’s College where I teach. He had a large involvement in many aspects of the school and will be sorely missed.

Use of funds

Funds will be used by Watson’s family to cover extra costs, whilst allowing them time to mourn and come to terms with the loss of their beloved family member. Thank you for your generosity.

Our sincere sympathies on behalf of our family. Watson's aunt is a wonderful caregiver for my husband.
