Help Wendell Qualify for the 2026 Commonwealth Games

Hi everyone,

My name is Wendell Stanley, and I am a high-performance boxer proudly representing New Zealand.

In April 2026, I have been selected to compete in two major international tournaments: King of the Ring in Australia and the World Boxing Cup in Brazil. These events are crucial steps toward qualifying for the Commonwealth Games in July–August 2026 and continuing my journey at the highest level of the sport.

This opportunity means everything to me, but it also comes with significant costs. Flights, accommodation, insurance, competition fees, food, transport, and medical requirements bring the total close to $7,000. On top of this, I will still need to cover my rent and essential living expenses while I am overseas and unable to work.

My fundraising goal of $10,000 will help cover:

• International travel and accommodation

• Competition and insurance fees

• Rent and basic living costs

• Food, transport, and medical testing

• Unexpected expenses

Like many athletes, I balance full-time work, training, and study to support my boxing career. Unfortunately most international competition costs are covered by the athlete.
