Climbing with Purpose - help Whanganui wāhine and amputee on her self funded road to Paraclimbing World Championship

I have the honour of representing Aotearoa at the Paraclimbing World Championship in Seoul, coming up in just 4 short weeks (Sept 20-25).

This journey holds deep personal meaning for me. It's also also about living a life with impact - showing what becomes possible with community, love and a little self belief when when we keep moving forward little by little through adversity or pain.

I know I can't do it alone. Paraclimbing in Aotearoa is fully self funded, and I have no sponsorships. So although it feels weird when there is so much very real suffering and need in the world ... I'm opening this page with a full heart, to welcome support from friends, whānau and community that would like to help me along the way. All your support in whatever form it comes: koha, shared energy, encouragement, following my journey, every bit of love... it all adds up.

This World Champs is a significant step in the right direction as we look ahead to the 2028 Paralympics. My heart is very much in it all the way. The odds might not exactly be in my favour with no climbing in Whanganui, but I am very much invested in our beautiful city with my children, my home and my life here ... and whoever really wanted it easy anyway right!?
