Thanks everyone for your help so far with raising funds for RSC vet clinic. I have approached the vets a number of times asking why the second operation to fix the mistake in the 1st operation cost double, and what happen, they still have no answers for me and they will not reduce the fees, but I have been offered 12 months interest free, so that's something right?
Hi everyone, I meet with the RSC vet and clinic manager last Friday. After talking to the vet, I'm no wiser about the treatment and what went wrong. They couldn't tell me why Lexi first surgery went so wrong, they couldn't tell me what happened. In fact they really couldn't answer any of the questions, other than there's always a risk and they did their best.
Very disappointing outcome. They did offer me a free check up for Lexi as she's still very sore.
That's disappointing. So why did she need the 2nd surgery, was it internal bleeding? Infection? What did they find?
They didn't answer any of the questions I had, the vet who did the second surgery wasn't at the meeting, I've just received a email from the clinic manager and they are still billing me the whole amount. So now I have to dispute it with the NZ vets council I suppose. 😔
I have just received a call from the manager of the RSC vets, they all got together yesterday to straighten out the story I suppose and want a meeting with me tomorrow at the clinic, I'll let you know how it goes, fingers crossed for a reduction in the bill.
Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know I got a call from the manager of RSC today and they will be having a meeting with all the vets involved with Lexi surgeries next Wednesday and then I might be invited to attend another meeting to discuss their findings in regards to the 2nd operation and the costs following. I'm going to ask for a reduction of the bill. Fingers crossed xx
