Help Zlata re-home and rebuild after floods

Edit: I was just advised by Give a Little that for them to moderate the page I need to make it transparent whether Zlata has insurance or not. To be clear, if she had insurance I would definitely not have set up this page. Unfortunately she doesn’t have any contents insurance at all. (Will definitely be getting it moving forward!) She is so appreciative of everyone’s physical help, donations, kind messages and check in’s. We’re both feeling the love and really hope everyone else is doing ok too. My sister Zlata has lost everything in the Auckland floods. Her rental property was in a low lying area in Milford and storm water was waist and shoulder height throughout the house and garage, destroying all her furniture and belongings including lots of sentimental stuff from our mum who passed away a couple of years ago. The house is uninhabitable and she is now homeless with a young daughter and a cat. While she is staying with friends temporarily she needs to find another rental on the shore asap and when she finds somewhere she will need to buy furniture/beds and appliances and also skip bins etc for the massive clean up ahead.

I know lots have people have been affected by the floods so this is really for our friends and family who might be able to help out a little to make it all a little less overwhelming for Zlata. xxx
