Good morning, just a quick update. Zombie is doing very well recovering as expected. Here is a photo of him the day after surgery. The fentanyl patch is now removed but the cone is on for two weeks so he doesn't lick the sutures off. His new nickname is cone head. He is on cage restrictions for a number of weeks and lead restrictions for a number of months.
I took Zombie to the vet this morning for his surgery. I think he knew what he was in for, he's done it twice before!
The vet called me this afternoon and said the surgery had gone really well and he was waking up fine and doing well. Unfortunately it is their policy to have him stay the night there so we wont get to see him until tomorrow after work.
And then the long road to recovery begins again...

Awesome news today. When asking for a written quote, the vets decided to give a 30% discount off the price, as the situation has been pretty crappy. Initially they said maybe 15%. Soo stoked 😁💕
