Help Chevana battle Juvenile Huntington's Disease
Iam helping to fund-raise for my cousin who is suffering from Juvenile Huntington's, who is 25 years old and now lives in a rest home.
The reason for fund raising for my cousin Chevana Fox is because she is suffering from Juvenile Huntington's Disease(JHD) she is 25 years of age, my cousin was diagnosed at the age of 15 and started showing signs at the age of 11 which was very noticeable throughout schooling, the doctors had stated that if my cousin hadn't passed by the age of 25 she would be in full time care which she is in full time care, my cousin Chevana suffers from psychosis which is the third stage of Juvenile Huntington's, there are currently no facility that will help with the rapid changes Chevana is currently going through.
Brooke Kingston's involvement (page creator)
I am involved with this because my cousin is suffering from Juvenile Huntington's and we are unable to meet costs with what Chevana needs as my aunty tries to do the best she can in every way but we cant possibly afford most things.
Use of funds
The use of the funds will go towards proper foods that she will need in order to eat, also when the time comes it will go towards a wheel chair when she is unable to walk any more and as she is at her last stages and when the time comes the funds will help for her funeral as much as i dont want to put that on there but my sisters on her third stage.
Latest update
Chevanas journey 26 September 2017
Currently Chevana is on a down hill slide where a part of her brain has loss function properly, communication is very minimal, delusions have taken over her sense of reality where it is such an emotion ride to watch Chevana go from walking to finding it hard to walk long distance and now has a wheel chair required for her needs..
