Fight for Diane Sanderson and her family in their battle against Cancer

  • Solo Journey for John!!

      5 February 2018

As per my last post, Diane lost her battle against Cancer and has now left John to raise their 2 boys alone. Diane was the main breadwinner of the family as with her position that she had held and John supported this with his job. As the Cancer took a stronger hold on Diane she no longer was independant and needed around the clock care. John gave up his job to care for his love of which he did with the upmost devotion and to the best of his ability of which we are very grateful.

I would like to remind everyone that this Givealittle page was created to support Diane and her family in their battle against Cancer. She has left us but John will still need the support to continue on without her. John is now Mum and Dad to the boys, the breadwinner and in addition this must try to keep the only house that the boys have ever known as home. The consequences of Cancer does not end when you pass, the ripple effect carries on and will do for some time yet. So I implore you all, please continue to donate to this cause as John and the boys will need the support even more now than before. This Givealittle page will cease to be at the end of this month so please again I ask - PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT DIANE BY SUPPORTING JOHN - PLEASE KEEP IT ALIVE AND CONTINUE TO DONATE, SHARE IT, AND GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT!! XOXOX

  • Farewell our Sweet!!

      5 February 2018

Our apologies for the lack of updates to this page. As you can probably tell from the title of this post Diane has lost her battle with Cancer and passed away at Dargaville hospital on Tuesday 23rd January 2018 among her immediate family.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have given their support to Diane and the family throughout this tragic term of events.

Diane's farewell was shared by many and it was evident that she had touched the hearts and souls of all.

She spent her first day of laying in wake at the Department of Conservation's Kauri Coast Area Office among her work colleagues and friends and then the final two days at Waikara Marae where she was finally laid to rest at Waikara's Whakarongatai Urupa or Cemetery.

It was evident by the hoards of mourners that Diane had touched the heart of many from both near and far.

Rest in peace and without pain Diane. You shall remain in our hearts forever!!

  • January 15th Update

      15 January 2018

Just a quick update, tomorrow the 16th is her 47th Birthday. So please send her your Love, prayers and good thoughts in a bid to brighten her day. She will need all the positiveness she can conjure up this week as she will also be heading down to the big smoke to undergo another round of treatment.

    Hopefully it runs smoothly

    Bev
