Donna urgently needs our help to fund her last ditch hope of unfunded treatment.

  • Fantastic News - First treatment down and all is going really well - so far so good!!

      2 November 2017

Donna had her first dose of treatment administered at Wellington hospital last week and the results have been really positive - in her words she has been "spotless" since then!! (I know that's a really bad pun... sorry)

While she's had a speed bump or two and is experiencing a few side effects that she knew may occur, she is felling really positive about what benefits this drug can offer and how much improvement she could experience with ongoing monthly treatments.

Time is flying by so she will be due to have the second dose she needs, to see if it will be a sustained or even better improvement and that's at a cost of $1400 again in two weeks time.

Following that we will be actively lobbying Pharmac and whoever else we need to in an effort to try and get this subsidised for her.

Donna, Ants, Aaron, Lleyton, Debbie, me and our extended family are very humbled and eternally grateful for the support we've received to date.

Please do continue to share this as publicly and as widely as possible to spread the help around as every little bit helps achieve this treatment for Donna and will help raise our profile as we commence lobbying for assistance.

PS I'll try to coax her into an updated photo so you can see the difference already :)
