I just wanted to send a quick message to introduce myself as I'm a writer for Lucky Break magazine here in NZ and I've just read Andrew's story on the Stuff news website. It sounds like he has been going through an extremely difficult time.

I wanted to reach out as I think his story is incredibly moving and I wanted to see if he might be keen to share his story with our magazine? We would love to help raise awareness and funds for him and his boys in the process!

Thanks for your interest in supporting Andrew, at this point he has been approached by a few different media organisations and has spoken to three but he has decided that is enough at this stage.

Thanks for your thoughtfulness. I have talked with Andrew and he doesn't want the donation box as he feels embarrassed by the generosity of others and doesn't feel he needs anything extra. The spirit of giving has been overwhelming.
