Multiple injuries after a devastating car accident.
Waikato
Jasmin Hamilton is 28 years of age and moved to Australia to begin her new chapter in life, and had a good job. Sadly while Jasmin was driving, she was T boned by a speeding car, causing Jasmin serious multiple injuries, including a broken pelvis in 4 places, all ribs broken, a badly broken right leg and broken left ankle. After being in an induced coma for 2 days and in intensive care, the breathing tubes have been removed but Jasmin now faces a long road of recovery and rehabilitation. One surgery on the leg was successful, at least one more surgery is necessary.
Debra Hamilton, Jasmin's mum, has flown to Australia to be by her daughter's side and support Jasmin on this long road, which means no income for Debra. There will be huge costs ahead for the Hamilton family. During a stressful time, seeing your loved one in this serious situation, the financial burden of not having income, the medical costs ahead, extra travel costs, extra living costs all add to the stress. Jasmin is expected to be in hospital for at least another month, more likely to be two months, then will require intensive rehab to learn to walk again. There is no guarantee her job will be secured by the time Jasmin's rehab is complete.
If all of you can give a little, this adds up to a lot. Please be generous with this cause, and please do give a little today.
The Hamilton family really do appreciate your support and generosity.
