Baby Layla's struggle

Hi my name is Shilah Wijlens a close freind of Jeff & Jamie, Young parents of Layla. Baby Layla was born 4 weeks prem on 25th October 2016. At 24 days old she was admitted to ICU which soon became her new home. Layla tested positive for ecoli meningitis which had her spend 3 weeks in hospital on several differant antibiotics, only to find it had made a home in the back of her brain. On the 13th december Layla had a central venus catheter sewen into her chest for future antibiotics. It was another 10 days before Layla was allowed home only on ward leave (which meant daily trips to hospital still) All going well only to find after another lumber punch she now has meningitis again. Yesterday on the 5th of January Layla was again admitted for more MRI scans & X-rays to find this horrible bug is now hiding in the lower part of her spine, meaning atleast another 4 weeks in hospital. What next is uncertain for Jamie, Jeff & Layla. As one would hate to imagine this has all become too real for this young family who are now starting to struggle with not only this emotional rollarcoaster but a new mortgage, daily expenses & hospital parking (which aint cheap). Jeff has used all his sick leave and annual leave during this tough time and going forward is not being paid whilst he is not working, Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help our friends.
