Yvonne is a devoted mum to 10 year old son. She is a widow and has no family. She has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer that has now spread. She has no support to help deal with day to day expenses and has little paid leave from work. She currently has to have major surgery, and will struggle to pay for bills and for care for her son whilst she is in hospital

Use of funds
Funds will be used to support herself and son whilst she undergoes treatment. This will allow her for example to pay rent, and after school care as she has no one to support her with day to day care with her son

What a survivor! 3 January 2018
Yvonne is so determined to be there for her boy.... she has confounded all predictions and is stronger than ever. She has had surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy with aplomb and has responded to these treatments. Her ⭐️ turn on 7 sharp was fantastic and was incredibly inspirational. Yvonne is going to have more chemotherapeutic agents this year and will need time off to recover... donations will allow her days off work to recover.
