  • First Chemo Session

      26 July 2017

    Hi everyone,

My mum had her first chemotherapy session this week in the Hematology Ward. She did well while taking the Chemo but the after effects were hard for her, with hot flushes and breathlessness we managed to get control of these symptoms but Andrea (My mum) definitely had a hard night after chemotherapy. Please note this page will close on July 31st 2017 for any further donations.

    Thank You.

  • Official Diagnosis & Treatment Plan

      18 July 2017

    Hi everyone,

Andrea has just had a second Hematology Appointment which has confirmed Non-Hodgkins Cell B Lymphoma. A rare Blood Cancer that can be treated and cured with enough treatment if all goes well.

She has also been given a treatment plan of Chemotherapy Once a week every three weeks and will be doing a round of 6 Chemotherapy Sessions with the Hematology Department.

Those are all our updates at this stage.

    Thank You.

  • Thank You

      10 July 2017

We would just like to say a very big Thank you to each and every one of you who have given to help Andrea so kindly we are very grateful. My mum has seen the page and is overwhelmed with the amount of support that is coming through for her.

    Medical Updates:

    - Tests are still being completed and treatment has still not been decided on at this stage.

    - Urology and Hematology Appointments are happening over the next 2 weeks.

We have no further updates from all medical teams at this stage and hope to have a treatment plan decided on sooner rather then later.

    Thank You.
