I don't even know where to start.

I don’t know how to express what we are feeling, pure joy, relief and gratitude.

No words spoken will every truely describe our emotions and how thankful we are.

    Our hearts are so full.

We are so blessed to have this amazing community, the help that we received in so many different ways will never be forgotten.

The people out searching with us at all hours of the day, the donations, the social media posts and shares, the care packages brought to us while we were out there camping.

Everything. Every little thing did not go unnoticed.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

    - The Loyola family ❤️

Burrito had another check up at the vet today. His bandages were removed and his cuts were stapled. We have to keep cleaning his wounds and he needs to wear this beautiful collar while he’s healing.

We are so proud of how well he’s doing ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful for all of your generous donations, we cannot express in words just how thankful we are ❤️

With that, we also want to be completely transparent as to exactly where these donations are going so here is a list of costs so far.

Again, thank you thank you thank you 🙏

      Correction!

I have realised that there is an extra “Facebook boosted posts” in there with $150 as the cost, this is a mistake, so sorry if it confused anyone 😁

  • Doing so well!

      28 September 2022

Burrito is now walking about the house, going to the toilet outside and rolling around on pillows (one of his favourite activities)!

He is settling right back in at home ❤️

Burrito has another vet checkup today, so hopefully he’s healing up well.

We will keep you posted ☺️🐾

After a night of medical treatment, Burrito is now home with his Mum and Dad.

Now it’s time for lots of rest!

He still has a bit or recovery to do but we are thankful that he isn’t seriously injured or sick.

He had lots of tests and also IV fluids and now he’s starting to eat little bits at a time.

We are so proud of how strong and brave he has been 🥰

We are absolutely over the moon, we keep wanting to pinch ourselves in case it is a dream!

Burrito is doing very well considering but is dehydrated and needs to be monitored overnight so he is currently in vet care.

Thank you so much to Lisa and Amanda for spotting Burrito back where he first went missing today, we cannot possibly express our gratitude ❤️

Thank you to everyone for your donations, support, resources and time, we are truly so blessed to have such an amazing community around us.

      23 September 2022

The search for our baby boy continues 🥺

This is now the 8th night he's spent all alone out there and our hearts can't take it any more.

We have a possible sighting in a particular smaller area now and we really need help.

If you or anyone you know has a sniffer dog or is great at going bush/climbing/getting through muddy terrain and vegetation please contact us if you can assist in our search.

Thank you everyone for your kind donations ❤️

  • Monday night update

      19 September 2022

    Monday night update:

He was spotted again today where he found his mum's jacket and also some food but ran away the second he saw the person who spotted him.

We are working around the clock to make sure we find him.

We are happy he's alive and still in the park so we have hope and we won't stop trying ❤️

  • Monday 19th update and help needed 🙏

      19 September 2022

    Monday 19th update:

No sightings of him today, not since yesterday morning. We are so worried and desperate.

Does anyone have or know anyone that has a cage trap or a couple of them that we can use please? We have a couple of places he has been spotted at a few times and one that a sniffer dog got a strong scent at so we thought we could put them there.

And there's always a group of us out here so we can release any other animal we catch.

If anyone knows anyone please message me! Thank you so much 🥺❤️

  • Current plan

      18 September 2022

    CURRENT PLAN:

There are a group of us who Burrito is familiar with/feels safe with that are stationed at the areas he frequents. Staying put so he can sniff us out as he's darting all around the place based on all the sightings.

All other helpers are roaming around Totara park, The trail walks, the off leash dog park etc in the hopes of spotting his whereabouts.

  • He's been spotted!

      18 September 2022

UPDATE: He was spotted this morning an hour ago running by the roses in the botanical gardens.

He is SUPER fast and not stopping, he seems to just keep running all day between botanical gardens, Totara park, the off leash dog area by the Everglade entrance and then the surrounding neighbourhood - specifically Goodwood Dr, Eugenia rise, Nyssa place, Robinwood Dr, Ysabel Cres and around there.

We have had a search team searching each day from before sunrise to late into the night.

Please if you spot him or have any leads contact us as soon as you can ❤️

  • Still searching

      16 September 2022

We are still searching for our baby Burrito!

We have had a whole team of us looking everywhere in the last 30 hours.

There has been a sighting of him today, once at 5.30am back in the off leash dog area of botanical gardens and once by Totara Park on Nyssa place.

Flyers are absolutely everywhere. We have physically checked all the pounds, contacted all the local vets, posted it on two lost and found pet websites and all over social media.

We hope we find him soon 🥺❤️
