Dennis is now at home recovering from his surgery.

Dennis received the results from pathologist today, and as we had hoped it was a mature teratoma, which means it was a benign tumour. We are all very happy to hear the news that this was not cancer!

Dennis still has a long recovery ahead of him but he is doing well spending time resting and getting better every day.

Thanks so much to everyone for all the love and support through this tough time; we are all humbled by the kindness and generosity we have received from you all.

Dennis had successful surgery last Saturday in the USA, after surgeons reviewed things by an incision and a scope camera between the ribs; they went through the serum (chest wall) as this was the safest way to reach the tumour. The Surgeons were able to remove the entire tumour; we are now waiting for pathology results which may not be available for 7 days.

Dennis will be off work for at least 2 months with special instructions to ensure his sternum has time to repair. Dennis is recovering now and will be in Hospital for at least another few days. We are very proud of him and how he is facing this extreme challenge. Thanks from all the family for your support, donations, kindness and special messages.
