After Lynda's op for chiari malformation her recovery is taking longer than was thought
Waikato
Earlier this year Lynda was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation which is a condition where the scull does not form properly leaving the brain squashed as there isn't enough space for it. She underwent surgery for it on the 9th June and unfortunately her recovery has not gone the way we wanted which has been long and painful for her. A few weeks after surgery she was rushed back to hospital with chemical meningitis which was lucky or she may have died. Later on she was again sent home. She has been in and out with major headaches and feeling extremely unwell. She is currently in hospital again now and has been told she needs to have glasses to help stop some the extreme headaches she is having. She faces the fact that she may not return to work for a very long time. We appreciate every dollar love you lots mumma xx Thank you to Lynda's daughter for adding a better description. Oxo
I'm involved because I am Lynda's mum and would like to be able to help Lynda
