Helping a humble father

I would love to fix my dad's fish truck and also send him on a much deserved cruise.

Auckland

My dad is kind , humble , hard working and loving as well as amazing. He is old school and is still waking up every morning at 5am (weekdays he cares for his mother-in-law who's 93 with Parkinson's) weekends he has a small seafood truck at the markets which he opens rain hail or shine just to cater for his regulars of 12 years. All this at his age even after a quadruple bypass 5 years ago.

Last year he gave us a scare which saw me running his little business, where I've realised it needs a lot of TLC, as he had duck tape holding a table together (he doesn't believe in buying new things if it can be fixed). I got a couple small things to try make it look better but turns out it's a bigger job then I first thought. Through this time there were days he couldn't get out of bed , he said he wished he had gone on a cruise ship to get that experience.

After 6months he was back working , which brings us to today when I received a phone call that his little fish truck (gurty) had two flat tires and he was on the way home from working at the market. I'm about a 45 minute drive from where he is, but thankfully he found someone to help him.

Because he's an amazing father that's never asked of anything and has always given everything.

Use of funds

Funds will be used to Fix gurty (fish truck) possibly even getting a cheap more modern little truck and to get him on a cruise ship.
