Success & Gratitude - Safely back in NZ

We have successfully assisted a number of families safe passage through to New Zealand. This is as a direct result of donations given to Helping Afghans who Helped Kiwis.
It is such a great relief for the families who have been able to leave. Thank You!
Some of the Men & Women who assisted our Defence Force can begin their new lives safely as Afghan Kiwi's living in NZ.
An ongoing effort is in place to sustain families who are left in Afghanistan.
This is an extremely difficult and challenging task. Donations made can also help in this capacity. To all the kind Kiwis out there who have donated and care for the Afghan people, Thank You!
Most of the families we represent are leaving Afghanistan with nothing but the clothes on their backs, therefore there is a need going forward for good condition household items, furniture, housing, accommodation, transport, vehicles, clothing, blankets, bedding sheets, food and of course money!!

I have clothes and good boots/shoes to donate. I want them to go to these families. Who is best to leave them with. I live in Waitakere, New Lynn. thanks. Annie

This is the most wonderful news. We welcome these amazingly brave people and their families to New Zealand. I am sure they will make wonderful citizens of our nation.
I would like to help with household items but don't know what is needed and where to take them. I will be selling a bach shortly and have quite a few items, cutlery, sheets, blankets towels and other stuff I can't think of. Meeting with the buyers in January to decide what they want to keep and I can ask for any items you might need.
