Helping Corban pursue a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at Berklee College of Music Boston

Our son Corban, a 17-year-old student from Christchurch, has been awarded a prestigious scholarship worth approximately NZ$400,000 to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, one of the world's leading contemporary music institutions.

Corban has dedicated countless hours to his passion for music and recently achieved national success as the guitarist for EQUILIBRIUM, the band that won the 2025 Smokefree Rockquest.

The scholarship covers his tuition for four years, but unfortunately, it does not cover accommodation, travel, health insurance, or living expenses. These costs are expected to be around NZ$50,000 per year, making this amazing opportunity difficult for our family to fund on our own.

Like any parents, we want to give Corban every chance to follow his dream and make the most of an opportunity he has worked incredibly hard to earn. We are committed to supporting him as much as we can, but the additional costs are beyond our means.

We understand many families are facing their own financial challenges, and we are simply grateful for people taking the time to read Corban's story. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help him take one step closer to studying at Berklee and pursuing a career in music.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and belief in a young musician's dream
