Helping Gemma...

Hello,

My name is Jenn and I set this page up to help my awesome sister in law, Gemma.

You see back in March, Gemma had an injury to her arm. A few months ago she had another injury to the arm and was put off work. ACC stopped assisting her with weekly compensations as well as paying for further treatment and because Gemma's husband earns over the threshold, Gemma can't apply with MOD aka WINZ so is financially stuck at the moment and needs an MRI to be able to hopefully find out just what is going on.

Gemma has been battling with ACC with applying for reviews to no avail, even with her specialist advising them of the diagnosis and reports. She is mentally and physically exhausted and it's really breaking my heart seeing her suffer and seeing this outgoing and uplifted woman hit rock bottom. In the 14 years of having her two kids, she's always been supporting them on her own and fears because she isn't able to provide for them.

I want to be able to help her raise some money for the MRI and also raise some to hopefully take away some of those financial stresses. She's had it pretty rough the past couple of years with the world trying to test her and to see her like this, it's heartbreaking. If I could give her the money, I so would give it to her. She is such a strong independent woman who's in need of some much needed help at the moment.
