Update on Gary. He's making great progress. Day by day getting his strength up. Can now do small trips to the bathroom and shower with assistance. Still just getting his strength up.
Gary is still much the same. Although, no longer needing as much oxygen as before. He's still very weak. Taking each day a small bit of progress at a time. He's very weak still in his arms and legs and its just about building his strength up now. We are hopeful that he will be going down to the rehab wing in the next week or so to start that process. But currently, its just about getting his strength up. Thank you everyone again for all your support. We really appreciate all you have done so far.
I am very pleased to say, Gary is now in Rotorua Hospital to continue with his care and rehabilitation. This is going to be a very long road, taking weeks, if not months of rehab just to get him mobile again as he is very weak still. He's unable to lift his arms or legs, and this means constant care currently. Im pleased hes closer to home now though as it means I dont have to travel so far to help him with his rehab. His dog was even able to go see him on Christmas day which made both very happy. Thank you everyone for your donations and kind words. It means the world to us.
