Join us in giving Helping-hands a GO. To help people All tangata, to communicate while sheltering during the aftermath of any 'storm'.
Helping-hand signs have been invented with people riding out the aftermath of natural disasters, traumatic incidents and accidents in mind.
The thought came to me "Surely there's a signaling system we could all use to let each other know how we are?"
Well, Now there is! Helping-hand signs are adjustable, reflective and customisable to your needs.
Using combinations of different coloured fingers and palms - we have made it!
A practical Universal sign to display, when the chips are down, to those close to us -
INSIDE - in the case of a personal traumatic incident. To communicate the thoughts and feelings.
OUTSIDE - in the case of a natural disaster event. To neighbours and service personnel to communicate basic needs and status. For All - wherever we are.
So we can tend to our immediate shelter while still being 'seen and heard' day or night, by those who respond, who want to help.
We are dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals, service personnel, volunteers and communities.
Please join us. In donating to our page - Together, We can ensure that help reaches those who need it most, when it matters most, more quickly than now.
We want to make & sell these hand-shaped adjustable signs locally, throughout Aotearoa NZ
In a range of sizes, suitable to be easily seen in hand, from the street or from water or air.
We wish to encourage preparedness, help with response and recovery in giving this a go!
Best wishes
