    Well thank you to everyone that supported us today for our garage sale we made a good profit about $480 give or take. We were blown away by people's generosity and just donating money or buying something small and not taking change. We have gone out and got Jacob some longvida tumeric and hesperiden for now that will help him. And have ordered some from overseas. Yay!!!!

    Had Jacobs latest blood test results.and his thyroid antibody results have come back very high normal range is 0-12 Jay's was 386. So this can indicate an autoimmune disease. Got Drs appointment Wednesday afternoon

    Hello everyone. Just an update again. We should be ready for the garage sale next weekend. And we have the raffle up and running, 100 tickets. Just got to go Warehouse stationery and get them printed and cut.

  • Garage sale

    Be good when we have done the garage sale so we can order him some more supplements. He was complaining before bed that his tummy is very sore, but that could be i ran out of digestive enzymes the other day and also he has run out of his vein support with hesperiden in it and his varicose veins in his legs have become inflamed again, So i will try and get him some supplements this week out of our benefit and his. We will also restart him on the Nutrivene D twice a day again, And i will have to order from overseas the Luteolin/Rutin, Setria glutathione, resveratrol, green tea (egcg) trehalose, alpha lipoic acid, i should be able to get beta glucan here, inulin, hibiscus flower, coq10, vitamin C. and longvida curcumin as that the one that pentrates the brain barrier.

  • More Supplements

    Well we have been able to get some more supplements, we got him some digestive enzymes, some cq10 some resveratrol and vein support with hesperiden in it, We need to get the other supplements from overseas, the ones that help fight brain plague and help with his immune system.

    We have started a fundraising campaign and have had people donate things for garage sales and raffle prizes so we can get the money to be able to buy at least 6 to 12 months worth of supplements. He needs these for life not just a short time. If we had started him of these when he was younger he would not have regressed, but sadly we did not know about the protocol until a year ago.

    Hi there, well it is close to Christmas and Jacob is doing ok. He older brother moved out last week. And he is coming to terms with not having him here. He stays in his room mostly. We are very low on supplements and have to come up with ideas how to fundraise to get more.

  • Functional Medical test

    Hello everyone, we have been reading and do some research and they have suggested that our DS children/adults get functional medical tests done. Like Functional testing like Hair Mineral analysis, Comprehensive Stool analysis, Organic Acids tests look at the way your body uses the food and nutrients you provide it.

    When we are giving our children Nutrivene supplements and other supplements we need to know to know how the body is using these vitamins and minerals and if they are benefitting from them,

    These tests are not cheap so we will need to carry on with fundraising so we can get these test done for Jacob, they can also check if he is gluten intolerant, soy intolerant and other things also what he is lacking in like glutathione or b12 and what levels are high so we can reduce them.

    If you can please help or share so we can raise some more money to help with these tests and his supplements.

  • Still waiting for shipment

    Hi all we are still waiting for the shipment of supplements to arrive from the USA it was sent on the 9th May. We have also order him some Luteolin/Rutin and Vitamin C from Piping Rock in the USA and this has also been sent. The Vitamin C is for the detox. We still have to get more of the supplements for that, and so the Glymphatic detox for 2 weeks then every other day when he is on the full TNI protocol. We did have a break through the other day, he actually spent alot of time not holding this toy that he has to hold no matter what he is doing. He was playing a memory game on his Ipad and the toy was on the table, so we will take that as a win.

  • Targeted Nutritional Intervention (TNI)

    It is critical to understand that children and adults with Down syndrome do not process nutrition the same way that typical people process nutrients. Why is this?

    Typical people have forty-six (twenty-three pairs) chromosomes. People with Down syndrome have forty-seven chromosomes: twenty-three pairs plus an extra copy of (all or part of) chromosome 21. This is why Down syndrome is more technically referred to as Trisomy 21 (meaning three copies of the 21st chromosome). Why is this important?

    Chromosomes are long chains of nucleic acids (DNA) and proteins found in every cell of the body. Chromosomes carry our genes. Our genetic information does much more than determine the color of our hair or our eyes. Our genes instruct our body in the processing of nutrients much like computer software controls the many operations of the computer. In other words, people with Down syndrome metabolize (process) nutrients differently because there is more genetic material from the extra twenty-first chromosome.

    In the case of Trisomy 21, this “genetic overdose” (disruption of metabolism) has not only been proven to exist by scientific research, but has also been shown to deplete the cells (and body) of nutrients needed to maintain health physically, emotionally and cognitively.

    The good news is that there is something that can be done to help control the negative effects of genetic overdose in Down syndrome: Targeted Nutritional Intervention (TNI). This is the modification of your child’s food intake by diet and supplements.

    There are six basic products I use that are slowly introduced to the individual with Down syndrome, one at a time. These are:
