Our Family Needs Mum Here — Help Us Bring Her to New Zealand

Our family’s world changed on Saturday when a member of our family was involved in a serious accident, leaving him with significant injuries and a long, uncertain road to recovery.

One of the hardest parts is that our mum is in South Africa, while all of her children and grandchildren are here in New Zealand. Being so far away while her son is seriously unwell has been incredibly difficult. She has to rely on second- and third-hand updates, and the time difference makes the waiting and uncertainty even harder. The worry is affecting her sleep and adding to an already overwhelming situation.

We are raising funds to help bring Mum to New Zealand so she can be with her children and grandchildren during this critical time. Having her here would allow us to support one another and face this challenge together as a family.

Funds will help cover flights, visa fees, travel insurance, and transport between Auckland and Tauranga.
