Supporting Red to keep fighting stage 4 stomach cancer with immunotherapy treatment
Auckland
My dad, Red, is currently fighting stage 4 stomach cancer. It’s a rare and aggressive type called dMMR, but he has been given the chance to receive an immunotherapy treatment called dostarlimab.
Thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and kind strangers, we’ve already made huge progress. Dad’s sister, paid for the first two treatments, and the funds raised from our first Givealittle page $6,885. Helped cover two more treatments and even contributed toward the fifth.
Dad is responding well so far and is determined to keep fighting. He now has five treatments left, and we need help covering the cost of administering them safely. Each treatment costs $2,696, which includes the infusion, nursing care, monitoring, and clinical support.
Dad has always been a hardworking, selfless man who never hesitates to show up for others whenever they need help. Now he’s facing the biggest fight of his life, and we want to help him finish this treatment without the stress of finances.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to our family. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this page would help more than you know.
Thank you for helping Dad keep fighting.
I am Red’s daughter, supporting him through his fight against stage 4 stomach cancer.
The money will go toward the cost of Dad’s immunotherapy treatments, including infusions, nursing care, monitoring, and also help with living expenses while he’s receiving treatment.
