Our dear friends have suffered yet another heartbreaking blow after what has already been an incredibly tormentuous 2 years.

I work alongside Seepa, who has endured more than anyone should. In that short time, she has faced the devastating loss of her father and came close to losing her own life during childbirth—her heart even stopped twice.

Then, on Friday 12 September 2025, late in the morning, disaster struck again. A fire tore through their home, and Seepa and Giovanni lost all of their worldly possessions. By some miracle, no one was physically harmed, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming.

After everything they’ve already been through, this has hit them incredibly hard. They are a kind and loving couple who deserve support as they try to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

Seepa & Giovanni had house insurance but unfortunately they did not have contents insurance, therefore any money raised will go towards the following:

- All contents for a furnished house

- All clothing/shoes/amenities

- Child needs (Cot, clothing etc)

We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s donated, shared our page, or sent us kind messages. We honestly can’t put into words how much it’s meant to us.

We’ve now moved into a short-term rental, and your donations have helped us furnish it and get the things we really needed. We thought we’d managed to save some of our clothes and personal items, but sadly we were broken into twice while we weren’t at the house and lost more than we expected.

Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to replace essentials and start getting back on our feet. It’s been such a tough time, but your kindness and support have meant the world to us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much.
