It looks like my work visa will be sorted soon, so hopefully I can find work to cover those future costs.

We are off to a great start!!
But I just found out my disability payment will be $200 less than normal next month due to a deduction for American Medicare (ironic.)
I've spent the day on the phone with the SSA and Medicare explaining that I cannot use this service since I do not reside in America anymore.
It's getting sorted but will probably take a month or two. That means I'll be losing up to $400 of what little money I receive monthly and rely on to live off.
Because of this, I have raised to goal for now. I'm being optimistic and hoping I'll only need financial help for a month or so until I am legally able to work again.
