Bruce (David) asks
Hi Lee, Thanks for your reply. If I understand correctly, ACC part-funded your surgery at a private hospital. Was going through the public system ever considered? And how's the rehab going? Thanks.
Lee
I'll contact u at some stage
Bruce (David) asks
Hi Lee. I'm Bruce Munro, a news feature writer with the Otago Daily Times. I'm doing a piece on health funding in New Zealand, looking at unmet need and delayed treatment. I want to include details of several people's stories from throughout the country, including yours, to help readers grasp the enormity of the need and the impact it has in real lives. It also seems that sites like give-a-little have become an alternative source of funding for health in this country. The info on the page gives me most of what I need, but I would like to understand a little more about why it's taken so long to have the surgery. Would also be good to get an update on how the rehab is going and how you're feeling. My email is bruce.munro@odt.co.nz and mob is 027 676 4610. Many thanks.
Lee
Reason surgery took so long is because we took other measures b4 surgery injections physio ect
