Yesterday evening, Sunday the 6th of November around 6 pm we watched our family house of 16 years burn down right in front of our eyes. The fire started from the back of our deck and within minutes made its way through our lounge my parents room, my kitchen and then my entire house. We had 11 people in my house at the time this took place 4 of which included small children aged 1 to 5. We managed to get everyone out but in that small time frame it was the most scariest traumatising thing i have ever experienced in my life. What hurts me the most is we walked out with just the clothes on our backs and completely lost everything. Including all of our belongings and everything including wedding photos, baby photos, photos of past loved ones and things we had that we can never ever get back including 16 years of memories. This hurts me more as my dad the kindest and strongest man I know also suffered a stroke this year 6 months ago due to stress and having a hard time overcoming that and having him not be able to work meant things were harder for us and this has added to it and made everything feel so much worse as we were already going through a hard time. I never thought I'd ever have to ask for the kindness of a stranger, or to reach out to anybody on this level and need to ask for help. But I've found myself and my family in a situation where we no longer have the luxury of a roof over our heads or things we need like other do such as clothes, bedding, and essentials you need to live. We are kindly asking for donations to help us get back on our feet. As we only walked out with the clothes on our backs. We would appreciate any kind of help such as donations as well as home essentials to help us get by. We Thankyou all so much for your kindness and generosity. Thankyou all so much love from myself and my family xx
