Help Narla - Before its too late

    We are please to let everyone know after a night at the emergency vet in Wellington, a few days of good rest. She is slowly recovering from surgery.

    It was a stressful couple of days after the surgery, but she is on the road to recovery. We still have not learnt if the Mast Cell Tumor has spread to other organs, but will find this out when we take her to have her stitches removed on Monday 7th September.

    She is alive and well and that is the main thing :)

    We will take update photos tomorrow when it is daylight.

  • She is home

    We have her back home, and is being monitored over the next 24 hours. Her blood is not clotting, so she will be going back in tomorrow for more surgery if the bleeding doesn't stop overnight. :( But she has improved from how she was last night.

    And Momma Bailey our old girl is keeping close watch over her :)

  • 2.30am update

    People dont treat lumps in your dog as nothing to worry about. We did not pay attention to a lump our dog had and she is critically ill. She had surgery, but unfortunately she had complications. We are hoping she will survive through the night. But read about these tumors because the earlier your dog has one the better the chance for it will survive. OUR baby is currently fighting for her life.

  • Turn for the worst

    Unfortunately Narla has taken a turn for the worst. She appears to have had a reaction to some of the medication, or had a underlying heart issue, She is currently at Wellington Emergency Vet and we are crossing fingers she pulls through the night.

    Will update when we have more details first thing in the morning :(

      We also wanted to say a BIG thank you to those who donated. And those who reported this as a scam you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Its pretty disgusting people would be so low to do what you tried to do. Luckily the team at Give A Little saw right through you. To those that have helped donate for this operation thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    Narla will be having her Operation at 8AM tomorrow. As it was brought forward by a day. Fingers Crossed & We will post photos up after the surgery :)

      Our thoughts will be with you all <3 Hope she comes through without a hitch and is on the road to recovery before you know it!! Am thrilled so many lovely people have helped Narla this far & hope you can get enough $ to cover all her medical costs (and maybe even some extra for treats for during her recovery :)

      Thank you she is currently in surgery now so will update this afternoon.

  • Narla's Surgery is Booked

    We just want to let everyone know who has kindly donated, her surgery is now booked and she will receive her operation Next Thursday 27th August.

    We will post more updates after the surgery and take some more photos of our baby.

    The vet has informed us, that she may need to undergo chemotherapy as well, but won't know until after her operation.

    To those that have donated so far we deeply thank you with all our hearts. Photos will be uploaded next week for those who have donated to see her progress.
