Nepal School new toilet block for 3-5 yrs old kids

The Goal     - Build a new toilet block for 3-5yrs old kids. Also get new Chairs & desks for their classrooms .

Schedule        - Mid October ~ December 2018

Costs needed    - $10,000 USD / $15000 NZD.  ( needed by Mid October 2018)

Items needed ( costs)   -   20 Toilets, 4 wash hand Basins , Tiles, Roofing materials. Concrete. shovels, Piping,  Doors,  Vehicle to transport materials & Manual labour to carry gear to village.  MakeSmall sized Chairs & desks

My good friend Kanchha from a small Village called Gudel in the mountains of Nepal helped me get to another village were I'm doing a project in September 2018.  As we walked he told me about his villages school. The project begun in that moment.

His village has a school with 300 beautiful children.   65 of those are between ages 3-5 yrs old. There is only 3 toilets for them to use and no running water to flush or even wash their hands. They sit on the floor in the classrooms at the moment hence the need for desks and chairs.

Kanchha has a plan to build a 20 new toilets block , 10 boys and 10 girls. With running water, tiles for easy cleaning and easy access for kids to use as they are so small.  Our goal is to work with , help and use local people as they have amazing skills and knowledge.  I will be there over seeing it the whole time. Working, Photographing and documenting the project.

Also we will get enough small sized chairs and desks( tables) for the kids to sit at in class.  Sitting on a concrete floor with a this mat isnt good enough dont you think.

The village is very remote and you can only access by 2 full days of walking after a 2 day drive from Kathmandu. A cool adventure just to get there but very hard to do these kind of projects. Just getting gear there is a major cost, hard and time consuming.

I went to his village last December and met the teachers and kids, Just beautiful people that need our help. As I will be in the same valley just 6 hours walk away on another project the month before I would love to be able to continue on to this next project.

All money goes to the project. I do not use it to get myself there or pay for my costs.
