    We have had some good luck ! And Cat has been allowed to come home , under close monitoring .

    He is sore and very drowsy but in good spirits and seems happy !

    The costs have been blown out and it is quite phenemonal what this poor cat has had to go through !

    We are listing all recepits for the care of cat so far totalling around $1500

  • Moved to Afterhours

    Because of today's additional surgery the best option to prevent this happening again was to provide 24hr care. Unfortunately we are not having a great run and due to having to transport your unwell and drip attach pet yourself we had an altercation at the door. A very large and unrestained dog rushed towards me as I was carry Cat and his catheter through the door! Both frightened for our lives I was forced out the door hoping not to hurt him! With no help or apologies from the owners or receptionist I struggled back in after the dog was taken inside a room. I have provided one of the receipts I was given tonight (please see the top left for date and patient name) as the $1,000 has run out. Tomorrow when I pick up Cat I am expecting another $200-$300 just from this overnight vet visit. Let's hope he gets some well needed rest!

  • Bad night

    Cat didn't have a good night last night. There was a chance he would be able to come home today however his catheter and IV have been tangled overnight. He will be put under again to reattach his lines as soon as possible today. Because of this he will now require to be put into overnight care for at least one or two nights to ensure this doesn't happen again. After hours vets are very expensive but I will require to scramble up some sort of payment for his care otherwise he will deteriorate overnight. His blocked bladder is very serious and can be fatal within 24hrs so this is a very big must. Please know that this is not benefiting me in anyway but saving the life of an innocent pet. Unfortunately it comes down to if we have enough money to save his life and that is just heart breaking.
