Please help me renovate this parsonage (pastor's house) which I lived in for almost 15years in Swaziland where my dad was a pastor.
Auckland
About 2 years ago, when visiting Swaziland where I was born, I decided to take my husband and children to the place I grew up. I was shocked at the state of the house and knowing how my dad looked after it while we lived there, I had a desire to make a difference. I'm visiting my family in July and I thought-it's time. This is in a very rural community which is thriving though hard conditions around. My flight is paid for and my living expenses, so this money is solely for the project. Every little bit will be appreciated.
Please help me leave a lasting legacy for my dad who served in this local church and community for almost 15 years and my mum who was a principal at the nearby primary school. I grew up in this house and it's part of my family's history.
Sadly, dad has passed away and won't see this work.
Your kind donations will be used to buy and transport cement, concrete tiles for some small landscaping outside, paints for interior and exterior walls. Also curtains and kitchen furniture.
Some of it will be used to transport people who will be doing the renovations and providing food for them.
Any excess will be given to the elderly and needy in the community.
Dad has graduated from this life 19 June 2017
I would like to let you know that I created this page planning for dad to come and see the work. I am now going for his funeral as he has passed on.
The project will still continue as planned as my trip will be earlier than initially planned.
Thank you for your generosity
