Shay is in the final fundraising stretch but running out of time!!
Marlborough
Every few years, Marlborough Boys' College runs an educational trip to Europe for those students taking History and Classics.
Shay has been frantically fundraising to try and cover the more than $9000 in travel costs including raffles, sausage sizzles, dinners, and working extra shifts at his part time job and is in the final stretch now!- any help is very much appreciated!!
Shay would very much like to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime trip to see the sights and learn more about the history and classical myths and legends that he normally has to read about in books. As the only Year 10 students taking a Year 11 Classics class, Shay is aware that he is unlikely to get this chance again and would like to make the most of it.
This educational trip will see them spend 4 weeks travelling around Europe, visiting landmarks and learning a bit more about history.

Thank you for any help in supporting Shay on this amazing adventure!
As Shay is under 18, I am helping to run his fundraising, with his full permission.
All proceeds go toward covering the cost of travel as well as tours of historically relevant sites eg Passchendaele, the Parthenon, Vatican City, Normandy etc. If things don't go to plan or Shay cannot go, funds will be donated to another worthy student
