Skylah has hit 160 nights in hospital.

Unfortunately she was rushed to ICU (Intensive Care) last week after skylah had multiple seizures one lasting nine minutes long.

After MRI , CT scans , Echo, Ultrasounds it has shown that skylah has now had once again another reaction to the chemotherapy and the results showed Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome swelling of the back of her brain , The results also found Blood Clots in both her lungs and in her leg.

She is also fighting high blood pressure which she has a special line in her arm and is getting controlled by the minute with Drugs to keep it lowered.

Skylah has been fighting severe mucositis from her lip all through her body for the last couple of weeks which is taking a toll on her body and can no longer talk because of it.

Her nutrifills are non existent which makes it very slow, painful process which time can only heal.

The nurse in ICU are with her round the clock looking after her.

Skylah is attached to about 9 lines getting multiple transfusions at one time .

It's been six months since Skylah was diagnosed with her leukemia, and it's been the hardest journey as skylah is just so sensitive to all chemotherapy and has devastating effects to her body each time.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to this page , and have supported skylah along this incredibly hard journey so far.

My girl is strong and so resilient but having to sit watching her in this much pain is so heartbreaking 💔

    Much Love from Us x

Its been a long exhausting few months Skylah and I have been in hospital for 83 nights since diagnosed on March 20th 2025.

Unfortunately one of the chemotherapy treatments has left skylah with significant nerve damage and she is no longer able to walk or stand up.

Watching Skylah through this journey has made me so proud of how strong and resilient she is under the extremely rare events of not only struggling with the cancer and side effects but also now in a wheelchair.

Life has changed dramatically for her but she is fighting hard to overcome this challenge in life.

Thank you to everyone that has supported her along the way

And a big thank you to all that have donated to her give a little page that will now go towards helping to altering our home so hopefully skylah can eventually come home one day soon.

If there is any physiotherapist that would like to offer their time to helping skylah bet this diagnosis I would love to hear from you 🙏🏼 ❤️

Much love and thanks for everyone that has come to visit skylah in hospital and supported her by all the amazing things the local community has done.

A big thank you to my Son Ashton for looking after his siblings and the house with help from my mum , while I'm at the hospital with skylah 😘 xx

And the amazing nurses in CHOC ward B7 and high care "If you don't laugh, you will cry" so thanks for so many laughs in these hard times.

Candace you really are the most incredible Mum; you are the epitome of what I can only hope to be as a Mum. Inspiring xx

Skylah, you give meaning to the word "brave", you are going through this incredibly challenging time, and you remain humble. It's pretty incredible xx

  • Postponement of Shave Off

      12 May 2025

Just to update everyone, we will be postponing our big shave off this coming weekend. Skylah would like to be involved with this event, she is currently unable to at the moment. We will update the page when its back on and there should be more hair to shave off by then, also we are coming up with further ideas and will update you with these.

Also just to acknowledge everyone else who is doing their own initiatives for fundraising, we thank you for your efforts.
