Help The Anderson's After Home Was Swept Away

    We're excited to let everyone know our plans going forward!

    We have kindly been offered the use of some land here on Waiheke Island to put some temporary accommodation for up to 2 years. This is great news as it will allow us to be in a situation where we can not only continue to save towards our dream, but be living in a sustainable, low impact environment which is one of our ultimate goals!

    We have been in touch with the amazing team at Lotus Belle Tents and with everyone's generous donations we are going to buy and set up a 5 meter Outback Deluxe for the summer!

    The tents are beautiful and with the price being so good we are also able to buy a Bedford bus which we will have the kitchen and bathroom in.

    The kids are super exited about our Glamping summer and we are really happy to be in a living situation where we be low impact living, off-grid and sustainable!

    Again we want to say a massive thank you to our wonderful community, family, friends and to the kind donations of people we don't even know! with your help we are going to be able to set up and continue to save for our families dream :-)

  • A Thankyou message from Kylie and Gavin

    As Gavin and I sat down this morning and looked at our give a little page, we were blown away by the generosity that has been shown.

    From the bottom of our hearts we thank you. Losing our families home has been devastating for us, however as each day passes the light at the end of that dark tunnel gets brighter from kindness we have been shown from near and far.

    To all the people who have donated to our cause, Words cannot describe how very grateful we are. We are extremely humbled. With every supportive comment written and dollar donated our family gets closer and closer to rebuilding our home.

    This page our friend Steve and sister Kristen have set up is an absolute inspiration to not give up on striving for our dream.

      No surprises at the amount of donations here, Gavin. You've always gone the extra mile in your work, I'm sure people are glad of the chance to give a little back, it feels good to do that for us too! Hold onto that dream, it'll be a reality before you know it :)
