Help Zoe's family stay by her side as she fights cancer

    im so sorry I haven't updated this have been abit busy...

    so my last update was zoe booked in for her op .. she has had her op and it went well im super proud of this wee girl shes being so strong thru it all...

    She had her op on the 28th the cancer was attached to her appendix and some of her musles and two days later was up and running around. they were up in starship for about a week then they came home. Zoe is still having chemo and will be for the next 30+ weeks or something like that...which is every third week in starship....

    At the moment this poor wee girl is sitting in taranaki base not feeling to well she has a chest infection and her bloods come back low so heres hoping for a speedy recovery so you will be ok driving back up to starship on sunday

    Update on Zoe

    Been a bit slack sorry

    She got home last night for being in Auckland for 5 days and will be home for 7 days. And on the 26th they wI'll head back to auckland. On the 27th she will be having a MRI and a CT scan. Then on the 28th she will be having surgery. If everything goes according to plan she will be in for about 10 days after then be home..

    This photo was taking tonight of what little hair zoe has but no matter what she's still beautiful as always xx

    Been a bit slack on updating this.

    Zoe isn't having the best of weeks she has been admitted two days ago to new Plymouth base hospital with a temperature and is in the process of having her very first blood transfusion. She also has an infection but not quite sure where so she's having antibiotics and fluids. She also isn't eating much as they have found olsers in her mouth which hurt when she try eating. But she is in the best of care

  • Day 2 of the port being in...

    2nd day of the port being in and Zoe's not having the best of days she has had chemo today and has been very un well and very un settled. Hopefully she gets some sleep tonight. Another lot of chemo tomorrow. Here's hoping she has a better day tomorrow

  • Little update on zoes journey (24th may)

    Just an update on how zoe is getting on... we have found out she has a rare type of cancer in her muscles called rhabdomyosarcoma. She has been receiving chemo but they are now giving her a stronger dose and hope that the tumour shrinks enough to remove in surgery. At the moment she is in Starship having the stronger dose of chemo for 5 days straight. She had surgery today to put a port line in and have taken her pick line taken out. She is doing very well right now.
