Hennessy Twin's
Waikato
On the 1st of January Jems ( My sister) went into premature labour with her twin boys. On the 3rd of January they arrived at 23 weeks and four days.
Born 17 weeks early Eli Michael Hennessy weighing 660g and Isaac James Hennessy weighing 620g. They both put up such a big fight for their lives. On the 21st of January, dearest wee Isaac lost his fight to live in this world. Jems & Mike are heart broken and devastated.
We all continue to pray for little Eli who is having to overcome extreme hurdles to be here. They are so grateful to all of our family and friends who have been so kind and supportive to them through this extremely tough time.
As there is no Ronald McDonald house in Waikato, they have had to find their own accommodation. Which currently in Hamilton is difficult as there seems to be very limited short term accommodation options available. They have spent the entire year of 2021 in Waikato hospital. Mike and Jems would love to be able to take Eli home on the boys due date, the 27th of April which will be true miracle. With that in mind they are at least only half way through their time at Waikato.
Mike is still working full time and coming between their home in Marotiri and Hamilton and our Mum Di is staying up in Hamilton with them, on and off to help Jems through this extremely tough time.
They are not ones to accept help from others, however if you would like to help or support them in anyway. Your kind donations will go towards their accommodation and living away from home costs.
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for Eli.
I am Jemma's sister and Mike's sister-in-law
The funds raised will be used for accomodation and other living cost for Jems and Mike, while being in Hamilton.
