Everyone can start a race; be the one that finishes it ❤️
Cambridge, Waikato
Luke Brooke-Smith is a 13 year old new Zealand boy who has worked hard for 6 years to get to where he is today. World number 2 and 7 national titles. Lots of crashes and broken bones but to quote Luke "anyone can start a race, is important to get up and finish it"
We have fundraised endlessly to get him to where he needs to go but with three months to go and he needs a new bike (grown so much the passed few months 🤣) it's crunch time. It's been a tough two years financially for everyone for sure. We are putting it out there as a last push effort. But will also continue to think outside the box. We don't have a goal on this page because every little helps. So thankful.
Thanks for reading😄
Money will be spent on flights, bike parts, entry fees and accommodation in France.
Thanks Everyone! 20 June 2022
A massive thanks you to everyone who generously donated to help Luke get to the BMX World Champs this year!
The great news is he is going! We couldn't have done it without your help and support. We knew this year was going to be far more expensive than any other year after Covid, but even we were surprised by the extra costs.
Your donations have made the difference to Luke competing or not, and we can't thank you enough for that.
Luke's preparation has gone very well this year, and no matters how he does, you can be assured he will try his hardest, give it everything he has, and do you proud.
Again, thanks so much,
Phil, Clare and Luke!
