HBCAFC isn’t just a football club....it’s a place where generations gather.....where parents and children find friendships....where teenagers learn resilience and teamwork....where people new to the area find a sense of belonging....it is an amazing community club.
Earlier this year, a newly appointed Executive Board stepped in. And in just a few short months, we’ve seen real changes in energy around the club, things are doing great in terms of community support and positivity about the club.
But the financial reality we inherited is challenging and we are seeking to raise $67,500 by the end of the year.
With over 1,300 members aged 4 - 67 years old, the wider impact of the club reaches many thousands.
We're asking for anyone who believes in what community sport brings to enriching people's lives to help secure the future of Hibiscus Coast AFC next year.

New Goal - Help us get there 💚 9 September 2025
Six weeks ago with the information we had, we put out an appeal to raise a huge sum of money by Christmas.
Back then, the new board were still sorting out the finances. We had only just put in our first funding applications and didn’t know how they would go. We didn't have anyone fundraising for us. We needed to let our members know the serious nature of the situation we had inherited so that they could step up and help us.
Now, the picture looks very different.
We have audited financial accounts.
We have been successful with thousands of grant funding and have lots more on the go.
We have received thousands from some awesome donors so far.
We have new sponsors.
We have people fundraising for us.
The tuckshop and bar have done really well in the last six weeks.
We still need to raise money via Give A Little, however the future is much brighter given all the positive things we have on the go….and because of this, we have lowered our Give A Little target.
Our new goal is to reach $67,500 by Christmas which will help us through the quieter summer period until January/February when winter membership fees start coming in.
We will still keep fundraising, still keep grant funding and bringing on sponsors in addition to this, but given we are already at $15k, $67,500 is totally doable, right team?! 🙌🏼
