Hibiscus’ Gender Affirming Surgery
Wellington
Talofa lava & Kia ora,
My name is Hibiscus and I am a Samoan trans woman, reaching out to seek support for my gender affirming surgery, specifically breast augmentation.
Those who know me and have been a part of my journey, this has definitely been a long time coming. It is a procedure that I have needed to get done, but never properly sat down and action my goals until now.
The journey to be where I am today hasn’t been easy, as like any other journey that people go through in their life.
This procedure is more than medical/cosmetic “wants”, but a “need” to feel authentically me, comfortable and safe within my own body.
This would mean everything and more, to help with the hard work I have put in to myself and the continuous battles I have fought mentally with gender dysphoria.
I am not one to ask for help because I get fa’amā (ashamed/shy), especially with something so personal. But I am very grateful and grounded to those who have supported me throughout the years.
Full transparency the money donated will go directly towards the surgery itself and post-surge recovery to ensure a safe and healthy healing process.
• Breast augmentation and post-surge is estimated around $20,000.
Any contributions whether it is a small amount, or a simple share of my give-a-little page will go a long way, forever thankful for the love, support and compassion x
A video will come out soon, with my full story.
Alofa tele atu,
Hibiscus 🌺
