We in our 70.s and over the last 20 years we have owned and operated a business called houhora tavern. After closure re covid in 2019 . We have used up all our resources and funds on restoring the 1800 year old NZ Most Northern Hotel with the insight to open to all who visit a memorial museum experience. Owing to the extreme weather’s the rusted now badly leaking roof is in urgent need for replacement. We have always supported those in need now…owing to our request for support…..will benefit all the public who stop to view and take photos of the 1800 building while passing through to cape Reinga .

Use of funds
The money will used for new roofing on the historic building. If the target is not reached the money will still go to help buy roofing iron.
