She's all done and back in the water after 2 weeks of hard work. $5,500 later in haul out, hard stand fees and materials. But that should be her for hull work for 2 years until the next haul out
Here is some photos of her latest haul out at Docklands 5 in Whangarei. Waterblast and re antifoul. Sand and tidy hull- she's wooden so hpgood to keep her sealed to keep the fresh water out. as this causes rot, very fast. Replaced some planks on the Port side as showing signs of age , rot starting and dark colored wood. All replaced, re fixed as per original with silicone bronze screws at $1.50 each, lead paint and original caulking. My arms and back are still sore from all the sanding
