Home Destroyed in Fire - Everything Lost
Supporting the Tele'a whānau after they have lost everything in a home fire.
Waitangirua, Porirua
One of our beautiful school families, had the misfortune of their rental home being destroyed in a fire.
Both parents were attending school parent-teacher conferences when the fire broke out. The fire was visible to us all at school and was very distressing.
Our whānau have lost everything. Currently they only have the clothes they were wearing at the time. The whānau did not have any insurance.
If you are in a position to help the family get back on their feet it would be greatly appreciated.

I am the Principal of Natone Park School. The recipients are a school family with two children enrolled at Natone Park School.
Use of funds
All funds will go directly to the whānau. Apart from the clothes they had on when the fire occurred they have lost everything and now need to rebuild their lives.

Thank you to all you amazing people. Your generosity and support of the Tele'a whānau has been so appreciated.
The whānau have now moved into new accommodation in our local area. Along with your generosity they have received a donations of items such as beds and furniture. This has allowed the whānau to settle in quickly to their new home.
Again, on behalf of the whānau I wish to thank you all.
