Home for foster children

For many years God put a desire on my heart to help children. My dream was to have a large home, possibly out in the country to be able to accommodate foster children and even adopt children.

I am currently a registered foster parent but the need is so great and I would love to be able to help more then 1 child,as currently I only have a bedroom that the child can share with my daughter.

I truly believe that this is the time that we are called to embark on this faith lead journey and would like to complete it with the help of community, family and friends. It truly takes a village to raise a child or in this case children.

As part of our process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to extend our house to add 1 or possibly 2 bedrooms.This was not an easy to ask those who we know and do not know to support us in this journey. We truly look at this as a faith walk and trust that through your help and support we will be able to open our home to more children who are in desperate need of a home.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around these children. Nelson Mandela once said “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children”. Our vision is yo give a warm and loving home to these children to grow and build great memories in.
