Fa'anānā Efeso Collins - devoted husband to Fia (Cynthia Collins) and dedicated father to Kaperiela and Asalemo - died tragically while taking part in a charity event, to raise funds for local communities in the Pacific.
Raised in South Auckland, Efeso was a strong advocate for rangatahi and marginalised communities. His influence spanned cultural, social and political divides, often going against the grain in advocacy of social justice, youth development and community empowerment.
Anyone who knew Efeso, knew that his daughters were at the heart of everything he did. They were his inspiration and drive. This fund has been set up to honour his memory and support his daughters.
