Honouring Mat's legacy

To everyone who knew, loved, played music with, was friends with Mathew Fieldes—and to everyone he inspired:

It is with great sadness that we have learned of Mat's passing. An extraordinarily talented musician, Mat touched the lives of so many. I know a large community of people are saddened by his death and our hearts go out to his family.

This fundraiser has been established for Ted, to honour his father's legacy. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Ted’s mother, Cia, to purchase, for example, a musical instrument for Ted, or pay for music lessons—whatever she feels will best foster his musical journey. Alternatively, if Ted is drawn to another creative art, the funds can be directed towards that, with our full blessing. Whatever is best for Ted! We want to support Ted in pursuing whatever he is passionate about, just like his dad did.

Donations will be accepted until the end of October, 2026.
